How is Elena’s name pronounced? 2017-09-15T09:42:44+00:00
I bought the Audible version of The Art of Coaching Teams and there’s no password for the online library. How do I get it? Or there’s no password in the book I have? 2017-09-14T12:21:08+00:00

We’re very sorry you’ve encountered this problem. Please contact us and we’ll give you the password.

Are there any videos of Elena coaching teachers or doing role plays? 2017-09-27T18:57:46+00:00

She has not felt comfortable recording any real coaching conversations but may find a way to do this in the future. How often do you offer your open enrollment workshops? 2017-09-14T12:21:31+00:00

We offer our most popular workshops, The Art of Coaching and The Art of Coaching Teams, between 10-15 times per year in large urban centers of the country including in Oakland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, NYC, Washington DC, and Boston. If we have large groups that are interested in other areas, we will also go there. Beginning in 2018, we will offer workshops on additional topics–Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators, Coaching for Equity and Leadership Coaching–in Oakland and elsewhere.

When do you make dates public? 2017-09-14T12:21:38+00:00

Our 2018 workshop dates will be published in October. Sign up for our newsletter and be the first to be notified when the dates are announced.

Is it better to attend the Art of Coaching workshop before the Art of Coaching Teams? Does it matter? 2017-09-14T12:21:43+00:00

It doesn’t really matter. The Art of Coaching workshop does offer many of the foundational skills for leading teams, but you could start with either workshop.

Should I read the book before attending a workshop? 2017-09-14T12:21:48+00:00

While you can attend a workshop without having read The Art of Coaching, you will get a whole lot more out of it if you’ve read some of it. We encourage you to read the Introduction, and Chapters 1-2. You will most likely want to bring your copy of the book to the workshop because different sections are referenced and you can use it as a resource. If you attend an Art of Coaching Teams workshop, you’ll be assigned some of the chapters as pre-work.

Is The Art of Coaching workshop appropriate for people are who aren’t coaches? Is it helpful to teachers and administrators? 2017-09-14T12:21:56+00:00

If you support other adults in any capacity, if you are responsible in any way for their learning and development, then yes, this workshop will be useful to you. Many of us use coaching strategies when supporting colleagues, when we mentor new teachers, or when we supervise others. This workshop is about how we can help others learn and develop.

What is your cancellation policy? 2017-09-14T12:22:02+00:00
