When Prentis Goodman arrived at Princeton University, in 1982, he found a massive Confederate flag hanging in his dorm. Prentis, a gay, black man from Memphis, Tennessee, confronted his roommate. This is the story of what happened next, and what happened 35 years later when they reconnected.
