Say, "Goodbye," to Resistance

Here’s the most important thing to remember when you encounter resistance: it can only exist when there are two forces.
That’s great news! It means as soon as you decide to stop pushing, the person resisting has nothing to push back against.
A skillful coach or facilitator knows that when they encounter resistance, they need to slow down and provide space to process emotions (usually fear). With nothing left to push against, all of our collective energy can go towards finding a path forward.
I know, this is harder said than done. And even harder when you’re the one standing in front of the group.
